Our guests enjoy wildlife viewing and sightseeing at the park as well as excursions for glacier treks, ice climbing, river rafting, and more. FULL SERVICE RV SITES
Our RV campground is in code compliance with all Borough and State of Alaska regulations. We have 25 RV Sites: 19 are Pull Throughs to accommodate lengths up to 60 feet, while the remaining are Back-In sites for RVs less than 28 feet in length. Our open park design eliminates obstructions to maneuver around or scratch your motorcoach.
Grand View has delicious fresh spring water that we consider to be some of the best in the state of Alaska. We pride ourselves in being the only RV park on the Glenn Highway (beginning in Anchorage and including Glennallen) that has commercial cable TV at each site, as well as great cell phone reception for most carriers.
We welcome caravans overnight or for a cafe stop.

RESTROOMS & SHOWERS
Our showers are coin operated and cost $3.00 in US Quarters for approximately 9 minutes. Washhouse and showers are available 24 hours. We pride ourselves on providing clean facilities for our guests; if you experience less than this, please let us know!
TENT CAMPING
We have three tent sites, each featuring an open grass camping area that's approximately 20' x 20'. Tent sites allow 4 adults with accompanying children and parking for 1 vehicle.
LAUNDRY FACILITIES
We are a small park, so we have a small laundry facility. Two washers and two dryers are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The cost is $3.00 to wash and $2.00 to dry and requires U.S. Quarters. Laundry facilities are available 24 hours.
ACTIVITIES
We love seeing our guests out enjoying the grounds! Many enjoy viewing dall sheep and other wildlife from their site, hiking adjacent trails, roasting marshmallows and simply enjoying the view. Nearby activities and excursions include river rafting, glacier trekking, ice climbing, ATV rentals, Zip Line and mountain biking. Berry picking for blueberries, raspberries and cranberries is a favorite family outing when in season.

Deluxe Site
Site #24 offers a larger grass area and fire pit. It is a Back-In Site for those less than 24 feet in length. Site #19 is a Pull Thru with a fire pit. Located at the end of a row, you would only have "neighbors" on one side. Our two Deluxe sites can be requested, however, we cannot guarantee availability until your day of arrival.

We are pleased to offer a 10% discount on RV Park and Tent Camping rates for Active Military with valid proof at time of check-in. Kindly mention and provide proof PRIOR to payment, as no refunds will be given after the transaction has been made.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations must be made two weeks PRIOR to your scheduled arrival in order to obtain a full refund minus a slight processing fee. We prefer email cancellations, however, if you must call, be advised that cell phones are often difficult for us to hear you on as you travel down the road.
No shows will be charged for one night and any additional nights will be cancelled~ discounted rates do not apply.
We reserve the right to charge the credit card on file for parties traveling together.
In the event we believe we have been given an invalid credit card number, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation without notification.
Reservation implies agreement with cancellation policy.
OUR RURAL INTERNET
Wireless internet is provided for free at Grand View. Due to our rural location our service level is not what many are accustomed to day to day. We have worked very closely with our carrier and have installed the most up to date routers and large range antenna, however our carrier can still only provide speeds of 768K in our location. We ask that you please be considerate and limit your time and usage to checking email, light surfing, banking, confirming flight information and the like. Better yet, put down those devices and enjoy this spectacular setting!
Please do not partake in gaming, using SKYPE, FACETIME, download or stream movies, music, send/receive large photo files while at our park, or use other internet services that require large amounts of bandwidth. Parents with children can help monitor their activities. We thank you in advance for consideration of others.
Internet is at the disposal of our carrier and we cannot be responsible for technical issues related to connectivity.
FIREWEED RACE
Due to the popularity of the weekend of the Fireweed Race, your credit card will be charged prior to arrival and your payment will be non-refundable 14 days prior to your reservation. We will not give refunds if you decide to leave prior to your scheduled departure date.
PETS
We welcome your family pet! Please follow these common guidelines: Do not allow pets off of leashes at any time. Pick up pet waste and dispose of waste in tied bags. PLEASE do not use our grassed areas or tent sites as potty places. It kills the grass and makes for unhappy tent campers.
ODDS & ENDS
Check-Out time is 12:00 noon and Check-In time is 2:00 pm
Reservations will not be considered confirmed until you receive email verification.
We will do our best to fill your site request on the day of your arrival, however, we do not guarantee sites until the time of arrival.
We do not charge for additional guests in your RV, but by the site.
Tent sites allow 4 people per site, and there is an additional $3.00 charged per adult beyond that.

We are a quiet park. No generators allowed.

RV GROUPS AND CARAVANS
A non refundable deposit of 25% or $150.00, whichever is greater is required by company check in order to secure a reservation. Final caravan/group count and remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your arrival date. We will not give refunds if you decide to leave prior to your scheduled departure date.
